Downtown Work Truck

This work truck will be delivered to Tacoma Power soon. It is packed with features to make life easier for end users. It is 6″ narrower than standard, so it’ll be easier to maneuver downtown. This is a short body with a large cabover extension….. giving it large storage capacity while preserving the tight turning radius of a short wheelbase vehicle. It incorporates a Western Mule bumper crane. We appreciate the opportunity to build vehicles like this for our valued customers!

75′ Oil Well Testing Trailer

An enormous trailer rolled out of TriVan Truck Body on Monday evening……. this oil well testing trailer was built for Little Red Services in Anchorage, Alaska, and it will be put to use on the North Slope (Deadhorse, Alaska). It is 75′ Long x 14′ Wide x 17′ High (Max dimensions of the trailers on North American roads are: 53′ L x 8’6″ Wide x 13’6″ H). We were very glad for the opportunity to build this big trailer for Little Red! It left our shop in Ferndale and went directly to the port of Bellingham, and an entire fleet of escort vehicles made sure that all power lines, phone lines, traffic lights, trees, etc. were manually lifted out of the way so no damage occurred to trailer or along the road! From Bellingham, it went to Seattle where it’ll be transferred onto another barge, then shipped up to Anchorage. It’ll have 2 months of further work done on it there, and then it’ll be hauled over the Dalton Highway to Deadhorse. Check out some of these pictures. If you’d like to know more, please contact us.
